The hue of the color fades over time

POSSIBLE CAUSES

• Poor quality paints with a high content of fillers, in combination with the use of paints with low resistance to sunlight).
• Application on external surfaces of plastic paints.
  Large exposure of surfaces to sunlight (mainly on south-facing surfaces).
• High concentrations of pigments (intense shades, or the addition of additional colors in order to increase the coverage).
• Surfaces where the problem of chalk appears, in combination with poor application, such as e.g. restored surfaces, large layer thickness (mainly in intense shades), etc.

THE SOLUTION

Repaint. If the fading is intense, apply primer first.
